Art 1 Final Portfolio

1. The paintings were my favorite project becuase it was fun. I think i changed my project at least 3 times with a couple of mess ups. Finally when i got it right, it came out pretty well. Painting is really fun in my opinion. It gets really messy but it fun messing around with all of your friends and having a good time. It took me awhile to actually get this because MR. SANDS SAID MY FIRST ONE WAS BAD SO I HAD TO RESTART. He really hurt my feelings. Not actually though, but overall this was my favorite project the whole semester.

2. This project is probably learned the most and turned out well. This is when we learned how to actually measure out where each body part should be. Now I would say this doesnt look exactly like me. However, this could be a person. This is probably the best drawing I ever made. It took some time with adding all of the body parts in the right position to actually make it look like someone. This was a fun project I made because I actually had to work hard on this. Overall, I learned the most on this project and grew a lot from my first drawing.

3. The zentangles project is my choice for this question. This is because before the zentangles we worked together to practic for the zentangles and with other drawings we created, we learned to be free and be able to position where each part is. Projects from the past really helped us to be able to do the zentangles. It was also a really fun project, being able to be outside with friends. As you can tell by this picture, it was a fun time with anthony looking good. Back to the zentangels though, the drawing of me really helped because of positioning and other fun projects helped with being creative. Being outside and with friends was great. Overall, this project took a lot of other projects to be able to complete this.

4. I would say this project was the most pointless. It was fun but it didn't really take any learning. The only thing we really needed to know is how to work the camera. Even though it didn't take skill, this was probably one of the most exciting projecs we have done. Making many different designs with the light was fun. Again being with friends and making art with them is great. Really though, even though it was fun, it was completely pointless. We didn't learn anything, we just jumped right into it and we were done in like 2 days. This is a project i would want to do like everyday though. For learning purposes though, it didn't help.

5. This project probably shows how much of an artist i could be. First off, look at that beautiful pose. Then, it took many different days to be able to trace it, cut it out, spray paint it, then paint the frame and many more. This is what makes an artist a good artist. They need to be patient and not get stressed. It was also a really good piece of art. I had fun during it and that what good artists do. They are creative and they enjoy what they do. Overall, this project was fun and this whole year was great.
