Light Thingy Magig

In our thingy, we had Jess be the model as you can see by the Jess on her body. Then we added some cool glowing lights behind her and to the side of her. I think we did a very good job on this and it was really fun trying new things. I wish we can do something like this again in the future.

Painting

For this painting, i thought i did a pretty good job. After i shuffled around with my project, i finally found something that worked. It obviously could of done better on it but i think this is pretty good for my art ability. If I did this again, i probably would of stuck with one think and worked hard on it, but i had to change it up because it wasnt good. Overall though i thought it was a very successful piece.

ipad and mud sculptures

I think this was a success. The ipad monster came out pretty well. I wouldn't change anything on that i think it is very good. My mud sculture came out okay but not what i wanted. I first expected to make like a monster type rattle but it did not come out as i wanted. So i cut out a slot in the mud and put some interesting hair on it. I guess it works as a piggy bank so i think overall it was successful.

Zentangles

I think that our zentangle project was very successful. It started out not looking to great but then it really came together. We kept adding more and more shapes and it finally came out looking pretty great. At some parts some people started getting off task, not working, or working on their own seperate little project but overall it was good. If we were to do this project again i would of tried to be more prepared and actually have something to make but instead we just added more and more to it and overall im happy about it.

Quarter 1 reflection

The Project on the left is my most successful piece and the project on the right is where i learned the most. Starting with the one on the left, the spray paint project. I think this is the most successful because it came out great and i worked really hard on it. I think the gradient colors work very well together and it people can actually tell who it is. It looks a lot alike me even though it just spray paint on a cardboard. That project i do believe was the most exciting as well. I really enjoyed everything i had to do to create this piece. Now for the one on the right. I really learned a lot from this project. I really learned to shade and to not be afraid of the dark. I think for how difficult this lion was to make, it came out very well. I learned to pay attention to the little details. The little details is what makes the final outcome a success.

Printing Project

This is my printing project of my ferrets. I think it came out pretty well, some more than others, but overall I think it is very successful. There were other ones that i did in different colors but pictures were not taken of them. Some areas i wish i would of not carved so much off and some areas i wished a little more was cut off. Out of those 4 pictures, i think the bottom right was the most successful one i did because it is very dark and the details on the ferret really show. I think this project was very fun and wish to do something like it again.

Spray Paint

This is my spray paint project. All i did was cut out one piece of paper and spray painted it gradient. The colors from top to bottom are blue, purple to black. I think i was successful with this project because it actually turned out looking like me.

Self Portrait

In this self portrait of me, i was able to create a person who could look realistic but just not me. I had all the measurements correct, aligning the nose, eyes and whatever body part involved correctly. I also added a hoodie that I was wearing at the time. Some areas are darker than the others because when I looked in the mirror, thats what I saw. Some parts of my jacket were darker than the other and in my hair/face. All in all, this project was successful becuase i feel that i grew in skills, being able to actually draw a realistic portrait of myself.

Stencil

Stencil Reference

Junk Pile Shadow Art

In this junk pile shadow, we had many materials to be able to create our masterpiece. This is supposed to be a UFO invaded a city. There is a cup with a straw that is holding a hat. The hat is UFO. In the bottom left of the photo is our bulding. Im not quite sure what the building was but it was a brown, plastic object with holes in it. I think it was succesful for the most part and if we did it again, there wouldnt be much to change. This project overall was a masterpiece.

Value Scale Project

In this piece, I have created a value scale of a lion. For the most part, I feel that it was very successful as it ended up as I wanted it to look. Something that I would change in this project is trying to make some parts of the lion lighter. I made nice dark marks, nice lightly colored in spots, but not enough completely light. The most difficult part of this project was finding all the shapes in the lion. Obviously it is very big and there were many shape I had to draw. Overall though, I think this project turned out very well.

Photoshop Rhino

I did enjoy using photoshop.  it does take a long time to get all around the amazing rhino but the final product is worth it.  i enjoyed doing this and will enjoy doing it in the future.

Eagle Hand Animal

In art class the past day we have been working on painting our hands.  I made an eagle by painting my hand black and my thumb white paying specific attention to detail.  I tried to make my hands look like an eagle the best i could by overlapping my thumbs while only allowing one to show.  I really enjoyed doing this in art class.  I especially liked getting a little bit messy to while still being able to stay on task while joking with all of my friend.  I would love to get to paint on a part of our body again and maybe go a bit further like a volunteer for the statue of liberty.

Newimal Bones

This is my newimal bones masterpiece. I know, its awesome. I have no idea what this is. Its like a cat type cute looking thing. The skelton was drawn with the ribs, leg bones, skull, back bones, and hand bones. It was fun and pretty difficult.
